Serenity Arabians Mares

Serenity Arabians believe that the future of the breed is determined in a large part by the quality of it's broodmares. We pride ourselves in assembling some of the highest quality mares available as a cornerstone of our breeding program.

Sabia's sire is The Profile, son of The Minstril (Top Ten U.S. National & Canadian Top Ten and sire of U.S. and National Champions on five continents), and her dam's sire is Simeon Shai, winner of the American Triple Crown (Championships at Scottsdale, Canadian and U.S. nationals, all in one year). Simeon Shai also won the World Championship at the Salon du Cheval that same year, 1991.

Sabia has been shown in halter class as a two and three year old in class A shows in Spokane, Washington area with an excellent win record placing reserve champion and champion respectively. Sabia, as a seven year old, went back into the show arena at the 2005 Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show in the Six and Seven year old Mare halter class against a very strong class with National show winners.

She did an extraordinary job getting a Top Ten ribbon and placing 6th in the class. This was an incredible feat as she was the only Straight Egyptian competing against all other purebred Arabian mares. Sabia was next shown at the Egyptian Event in the "World Class Mares - six to nine year old class". She placed "Top Five" in that class. Sabia returned to Lexington in July for the Region 14 finals. In her mare class she again posted a Top Five finishing 3rd overall. Sabia showed at the U.S. Nationals this year and was one of only 2 straight Egyptian Senior Mares to compete. Sabia placed 6th on one card, however due to the lack of mares in the class, they did not place to the top ten. We are very proud of Sabia's showing!

April in Parys, an 8 year old bay mare.

She is by Parys El Jamaal who was a Reserve National Champion and her dam is Flames Adore Me who placed third in a competitive Nationals Top Ten purebred mare class. She has produced three fillies by Botswana. One of her fillies, Tangiers, had several class championships at the Egyptian Event (two of them unanimous) plus a Reserve Junior Champion Filly win at the competitive annual show in Montgomery, Alabama.

Neera is an extraordinary mare! We think possibly she is even better than her dam Sabia Barake.

This mare was evaluated by Liz Salmon on July 11, 2006. She states that "this is a very correctly conformed, large, typey mare with good legs, and excellent free movement with great presence. She has a lovely disposition and would make a great foundation brood mare as well as a great performance horse".
